The web browser has been around for 25 years, and it’s definitely been an important part of the Internet’s history. Edge is the default browser on Windows 11 already, and it seems likely that most home users have moved on already.It’s been a long time coming, but Microsoft is officially retiring Internet Explorer 11 today. Only Microsoft knows the real numbers, but most third-parties that release browser stats see it at below 0.50% of the entire market. Internet Explorer's usage share is relatively low already.
