You still need park reservations for the days you wish to visit the parks. Here are a few things I learned about using Cast Member Guest Passes to visit the parks now: It was our first visit since Park Reservations, Genie +, Lightning Lane and Virtual Queues have been in place. My adult son and I went down to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios in January. We have close friends that work at Walt Disney World and they get us in with their Guest Passes whenever we want to visit the parks (we're polite and usually only go down once every 5 years or so). You can google what rides are aren't included in G+ or have ILL. Some rides are standby only, and the most popular rides require an a-la-carte purchase (called an Individual Lightning Lane, or ILL) outside of the G+ purchase. I mentioned that not every ride is included in G+.It would actually make the standby lines go faster and make the LL a true skip the line lane). (Personally, I wish G+ was much more expensive, so less people would buy it. You aren't guaranteed to be able to use it for every ride and popular rides will sell out the whole day within a few hours in the morning. What that means is that since there are a limited number of available LL times throughout the day, they can fill up pretty quickly. G+ is much much cheaper than the Universal express lane pass, so pretty much everyone buys it. For example, you might wait 5-15 minutes depending on the ride and how full the LL is. It isn't a full "skip the line" lane, but does cut down on the wait considerably compared to standby.
